Earth Tones Ideal for SW & NE Bedrooms
The interior of the sketch above is dominated by Earth tones, with colours sticking to the brown and beige categories, suggestive of earth energy. This colour scheme is suitable for bedrooms located in the Southwest and Northeast, as well as the West and Northwest sectors of the home.
The main thing wrong with this bedroom is the large floor to ceiling mirror that reflects the entire bed. Mirrors inside bedrooms can cause havoc with your feng shui, and by extension with your life, so it is a definite taboo inside bedrooms and are especially bad for master bedrooms. Use red color to activate an area:
The truth is that a large red-colored object emanates the fire element and is not necessarily the best way to activate an area. Fire happens to strengthen earth and there are earth-type energies responsible for sickness, arguments, and accidents. Please do not think that red is a “lucky” color because it can cause harm when placed in the wrong location.

Continuing our occasional series on the meanings of the lines of your palm, this issue looks at just how much the heart and relationship lines on the palm really reveal about the quality of our love lives. The heart line runs horizontally across the upper palm, surrounding the mounts of Mercury, Apollo, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. This line indicates the strength of emotions, quality of relationships, timing of important relationships such as marriages and love affairs and whether these relationships bring happiness or heartache.
